Maxi Micro Black & Purple - Available now

An ideal follow on from the Mini Micro - For aged 5 upwards
We are delighted to announce that The Maxi Micro is now available to purchase through our website only . Like us many of you have found the Mini Micro a Godsend, not only in terms of getting to school or nursery on time but also because children love it. They are experts at surfing the parks, pavements and kitchen floors! Many of you have asked, 'what comes next?'. So, we asked Wim, Hans Peter and the team at Micro to think again and come up with a Mini Micro for older children. We wanted all the fun, versatility and good design of the Mini Micro but for older children. We asked them to make it slightly edgier, cooler, sporty and yet portable. And guess what, we think that they have done it. The first scooters arrived on our doorstop from Switzerland Mid-November and since then the boys have been fighting among themselves to be on it..... Just take a look at Edward who used his Mini Micro training immediately to master the Maxi......It is an ideal follow on from the Mini Micro. Some of you have asked why a joystick and not a t-bar? The parents group were split 50/50 as to which option. This was due to the fact that their children were so confident on the Mini Micro that they did not want a change. The children's group however, was 98% in favour of the joystick. They thought the joystick was joystick was much, much "cooler", important to them it was different from their younger brother or sister, and at the time of the research there was the added benefit of being able to eat an ice-cream and steer at the same time. Here is a testimonial from a mother whose children have recently been introduced to the maxi: ‘My children are delighted with the Maxi Micro Scooters. My daughter, who is 7 years old, is used to riding a metal scooter. Within 1 minute of using the Maxi she has been converted to it. She loves the handling, the control and stability without sacrificing speed. She feels and looks cool. Loads of her friends have tried it in the playground and find the same. My son is transitioning off his beloved Mini Micro. He will be 6 years old soon and the Mini is just too small. He finds the Maxi Micro easy to handle and quicker too. As a scooter it feels robust and solid. It takes 30 minutes to scoot to school in the morning and the journey is now much easier for us all!’ Abi
